Yeah, I was actually writing my paper on this book last night, and I was looking for a quote, and I came across some Newspeak and decided I'd throw it here to see if anyone knew what it meant.

Big brother is watching and you might just disappear! I think others who have turned to color have disappeared. Colors. Simply scary. I'll stick to grey.
I don't believe there are colors other than black and white. If there were, I'm sure I would have noticed them by now. Instead, I think it's a vast conspiracy by people who want to pretend that there are more colors than those. Mac OS X is obviously part of the conspiracy since it has a Colors drop-down in the "Displays" System Preference. Ha! You don't fool me!
Note: If you thought you saw a dozen posts claiming the existence of colors, between sushi's post and mine, you were just imagining things. There were no posts there, and they were not removed by unseen hands. And it was the other security enforcement specialist, not me, who did it, I mean didn't do it!
