Unfortunate that it doesn't have a trial. I don't really care to pay without even having tested it. I'll keep using Vivaldi and Brave.
Valid point. However, $5 isn’t much.Unfortunate that it doesn't have a trial. I don't really care to pay without even having tested it. I'll keep using Vivaldi and Brave.
True, but it also makes me feel like the dev doesn't really believe in their product enough to think that people will like it.Valid point. However, $5 isn’t much.
He is a first time developer and also 16 years old. He may not have thought of that aspect.True, but it also makes me feel like the dev doesn't really believe in their product enough to think that people will like it.
This. I wanted to reply to his post too but could not find the words. He is a first time developer and also 16 years old. He may not have thought of that aspect.
Oh, I didn't know that. That's very impressive then. I still stand by my point though. He is a first time developer and also 16 years old. He may not have thought of that aspect.
But it's a browser though... if you had concerns or questions, you can always ask before purchasing. And as @Apple_Robert mentioned, its 5 bucks.Oh, I didn't know that. That's very impressive then. I still stand by my point though.
I have never used Safari Tap Groups. Maybe someone else more familiar will be able to answer your question. How are Beam Spaces different than Safari Tab Groups? They look very similar.
This looks to be a significant update. I am liking what I see.Just received the 1.2 update (like the new icon)… supposedly they added Peek feature, but I’m not seeing it.
Brave or Beam? After using the new update for a while, I gotta say I am even more impressed with the app, especially the Peek feature.
I took a look today at the Safari Tab Group feature and in my opinion, Brave has a much better GUI and overall, more robust features.
Beam. I don’t know why it said Brave. I will correct. For some reason, when I try and post, words constantly get changed on me along with the wrong punctuation that i have to go back and fix. I remembered just now, that i needed to toggle of the BB Code option on the forum to get rid of the problem. I had to do the same thing with Safari years ago.Brave or Beam?
Beam has built in adblocking that you can control. With YouTube, it essentially super fast - forwards through them. How does it cope with ads in videos, for example on YouTube?
Thanks for the heads up. I have it set as my default. I really like the layout and ease of use. In my opinion, Safari is not as nice as Beam. Apple could take lessons from this kid. I am eagerly awaiting Beam for Mac this year.New update for Beam Browser… enjoying it too! It’s back on the dock and will use this more going forward, however keeping Safari as my default (at least for now).
Have you tried using Arc for the Mac? Or you not into Chromium? Thanks for the heads up. I have it set as my default. I really like the layout and ease of use. In my opinion, Safari is not as nice as Beam. Apple could take lessons from this kid. I am eagerly awaiting Beam for Mac this year.
I haven't tried Arc although I have heard good things about it.Have you tried using Arc for the Mac? Or you not into Chromium?
And no doubt, Beam is much nicer than Safari... I agree with you on that. I'll probably default to Beam especially with this update since I enjoy Arc so much on the Mac.
I use Brave with Adblock pro and do not get ads.Yes you'll get the usual YouTube ads. To not get ads you need YouTube Premium.
