Having a problem with my MacBook Pro, only viewing some accounts at login

I have several accounts on my MBPr. For ease, lets number them 1-5.

So when I restart my Mac, I can only see account 1 and account 4 for logging in.

If I login to account 1 then I am able to access the rest by switching or logging out, then all appears.

Sounds like you have FileVault enabled. Only certain accounts can be used when starting the computer when FileVault is enabled until another user logs in.

I see. So what determines which accounts can be accessed?
