on the Apple TV under my account, I have my sister as the other user/account. switched user account to her because she wanted to buy a movie but when she pressed buy she didn't get a notification on her iPhone to buy. I was wondering if maybe her account is just for viewing what she has only and can't buy from being the other user? hope it all makes sense. thanks.

I think that if all else fails she can purchase the content via her iPhone then view it on the ATV.
nada, it does nothing but I turned on media sharing on her computer and will try again.
