I have a dresser from IKEA (similar to this one: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70121763) and I'm having a bit of an issue with the drawers.... even after being shut, they start to slide open. Even if there are not heavy clothes/items in the front part of the drawer, they start to slide open. The dresser is on an even surface and has not always done this, it started about a year after being assembled. I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas on how to remedy a problem like this? I know I should not expect too much out of cheap IKEA furniture, but nonetheless I thought that this is not something that should really be happening.

Any suggestions are appreciated; thanks.

One thing you could try to make them stay closed is a set of magnets. Just put one in/on the back of the drawer and put the other on the back inside wall of the dresser. It works for me.
