Hi Everyone

I am having a problem sending Email using Mail in my MacBook Pro and iPhone. I am using MobileMe Email (on trial period) and I have no problem at all in receiving an Email BUT I can not send Email via Mail program using either Macbook Pro or iPhone. Do I need to set something special? or it's because that I am on trial period of MobileMe so they don't allow me to send email via Mail program? Whenever I want to send an Email I have to visit www.me.com to send it.

I really need help. PLEASE!!!

Your Internet Service Provider might block you from using the MobileMe smtp server for sending mail. For example, BellSouth(AT&T) doesn't let DSL customers use smtp servers other than their own.

I believe you can pester them to make them open up port 25. Or you can just use the SMTP server your ISP provides. That's where I would look first.

Actually the MobileMe outgoing server should be port 587. Try changing that first before you try using a different outgoing server.
