Hello everyone I'm using an (officially) unlocked iPhone with a prepaid sim. I have a data plan and my carrier allows tethering. In the past, I've used it a few times since it was pretty convenient and easy to activate. My old carrier didn't allow tethering so it couldn't be turned on. After getting the simlock removed from Apple and switching carriers, I just installed a carrier profile that I found online in order to set the right APN etc. From then on, tethering could simply be turned on in the network settings. So here's the problem: Today, I wanted to use tethering again and was shocked to see that the option had completely disappeared from the network settings. Since I don't use it very often, I don't know how long it's been gone and what made it disappear (new version of iOS?). Now I really don't know what to do. The Apple support page says: If you don't see this option and your carrier supports Internet tethering, check for a carrier settings update. If you still cannot enable this feature, contact your carrier for additional information. And my carrier's support site explains how to tether by describing the steps as if the option was available in the network settings. By searching for help online, I only find results describing how to jailbreak, use mywi etc... I simply want to use an option that I should be able to use... Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
