Hi,

I have a 64Mb USB 1.1 Pen Drive which has been working fine without problems for over 2 years!

I've just come back from the library where they've installed some tricky software to stop their Windows 2000 systems from mounting pen drives. When I plugged it in, it appeared as a "STMP3410" and Windows refused to mount the drive, spitting out an error message.

Well I finally found a terminal that didn't have that protection and used the drive as normal. But now I get back home, my Mac won't recognise or mount the drive either! In System Profiler, it shows up as... an STMP3410, vendor Sigmatel, Inc. - Product ID 13328 ($3410).

Is there any way to reset this thing so it'll work again? It also won't work on my Windows XP laptop... same error. All my other USB and FW peripherals are working fine.

Thanks :)
