having some syncing issues

so i just purchased mobile me and with my iphone it works great. iDisk, find my iPhone, and gallery are working fine. On my MBP, not so much.

I cannot set up the mobile me email to work with the mail app on the computer whatsoever. It says it is unable to connect through that port and a bunch of other crap when i set up the account. extremely frustrating.

also, it won't wirelessly sync my calendar contacts with ical, is there anyway to do this? I have set it up in iTunes and it still doesn't work.
