Having to reset Apple TV

I have a Apple TV 3rd Gen connected to my Denon 1912 receiver. Ever time I turn on my Apple TV (via Harmony One remote) the LED light comes on, but no picture until I reset the Apple TV. This is happening every time. What gives?

Try switching the AVR first first, THEN turn on ATV.

Mine has been giving me trouble lately too. I was resetting mine also, but now I press the ok button on my One and I get video
