Has anyone noticed even after wiping down the watch screen what looks like a cloudy haze or a haze on the screen, to where it never seems to be perfectly clear and clean looking? My Sapphire screen no matter how much I wipe it, I can get finger prints and smudges off but it still seems to have in some areas what looks to be a haze in the screen. Very annoying to see, I am anal about that stuff lol.

Nothing that I notice on mine honestly.
I've had mine for about 3 1/2 months and when wiped clean looks clear and no fog.

What are you using to clean with?
Can you post a picture for us to see?

I just wiped mine off with a micro fiber cloth then swiped a finger across it so you can see the oil/ clean screen.

Hard to see in a picture but shows especially around the corners

To clarify, I do not use any chemicals, etc to clean the screen, I just use a microfiber towel or soft cloth

I see what you are talking about. Like another user stated it might be a bad coating?

I'd set up a meeting with Apple and see what they think. It doesn't seem like something you would have caused.

If I wipe my SS Apple Watch with my finger, I get the same haze/smudge across the entire screen.

If I use a microfiber cloth (or even wipe the screen on my shirt), its perfectly clean.

Yeah but my haze/cloudiness is there after using my microfiber cloths

I had a spot where the coating was coming off. My suggestion is bring it to the apple store. They replaced mine with a new one (it took 16 days though). They don't work on them in the store.

Nothing like this on mine (had it since launch).

Like another poster said, mine will look that way from finger oil... then I just wipe it on my shirt and it's clear. Might be an issue with your oleophobic coating...

I have an appointment for Saturday to go to the Apple Store, do you all think they warranty the coating or will replace the watch due to this? I try to search google to see if this issue exists other than with me but could not find anything.

They will probably replace it like they did with mine... BUT, they will take your watch and send it to the repair facility first. This is what took so long for me (16 days). I didn't know that since I had apple care I should have called and had an express replacement.

No, you need to request Express Replacement entirely via the phone. If you go into an Apple Store, you'll be without your watch since it'll be sent off.

Okay, I made an appointment for tomorrow, but instead I should call the Apple Care and just request a replacement? Do they send me a box to ship the watch back with and then once they receive mine they send a new one? Sorry, I have never called the Apple Care line so just not sure how that works.

I just scheduled for them to call me tonight when I leave the office and I will explain the issue and ask about the express replacement option.

Just called and I'm doing the express replacement, normally $29 but due to I have apple care plus, it's free. I just have to send this one back within 10 days once my new ones comes in a few days, and one awesome thing, new watch means fresh stainless steel with no knicks lol

Another awesome Apple service experience. Called at 7:30 last night and my new watch shipped today for delivery Monday.
