HBO Channel on ATV+

Is subscribing to the HBO channel on ATV+ the same as subscribing to HBO Now? If so, how do I sign in to HBO Now on my laptop?

It is the same content. However a Channel subscription does not get you access to the HBO Now/Go apps. You must access the content though the TV app on tvOS, iOS and macOS.

The upside is you're getting the content from Apple's servers with at Apple's (typically) higher bit-rate.
