HBO on Mac?

Is it possible to get HBO on my Mac mini that is connect to an LG TV by HDMI? I only have internet service from Xfinity; I do not have any of their TV packages. I really would rather not use my iPad or iPhone, unless I can somehow get it to the 46" LG TV. It seems like this would be easy information to locate, but I am struggling to find information on it. When I visit hbonow.com it says I have to download an app to my iPhone or iPad.

Simply create a HBO Now account and subscribe -- then access the service with your web browser.

If your tv can use apps, you can download HBO GO and watch from the app on the tv. Then just do what the previous post says.

Keep in mind, HBO Go and HBO Now are two different approaches.

'Go' requires a cable/satellite subscription where you are paying for a package that includes HBO.
'Now' is an a la carte solution. You pay HBO a monthly subscription directly and you can access their entire library from any of your devices at any time without having to have a cable/satellite subscription.
