Just wanted to inform you that the Apple DVI to Video adapter also works in HD 3870. Although the card has a built in video out, you can use the adapter also.
Apple said that the adapter required port 2 of x1900 xt for Mac Pro. You can add HD 3870 to the list now.
Edit: 2600 XT also supports this adapter.
