im running lion with latest updates. and i cant open any 3d app or opengl,its crashes
i installed steam and tried to launch half life 2,it show down its opening but the icon goes away after 2 seconds. also i tried other games but same result its icon show for a couple of seconds then it goes away.
in windows games play perfect.
i downloaded gputest,but when i hit run benchmark i get "gputest quit unexpectedly"
using firefox on youtube with latest flash player installed, video works perfect
what could cause this problem ?

[doublepost=1455812142][/doublepost]should i reinstall snow leopard ?

right out of the box.. no but after i install some updates,yes it works.
should i downgrade back ? or there is something i can do ?

Pretty sure this card will profit from an EFI flash (especially in older OS X versions), have a look over at netkas.org.
Some cards where buggy in Lion when used without injection, I guess yours is one of them.

fu*k yeah ! i did folow the guide with "my tail between my legs" and successfully flashed my hd 5770 !
i have bootscreen.. and also dvi ports work fine,lion detected the card as hd 5770 !
i tried to register on the forum and did not recive any email confirmation ! who ever made that guide and the rest of the tools etc,thanks a bunch
[doublepost=1455828137][/doublepost]im curious why efi icons are so big ? on 7300GT are smaller !
is there something i can do or just ignore it ?
