    Hi guys,

Have a problem with my Samsung Spinpoint HD (750 Gig model).

Every time I boot up, I receive this error message:

The disk 'Samsung F1 HD' was not repairable by this computer.

I don't know what to do here? I really do not want to wipe the drive as this is used to store my sample libraries for Audio work, and they're absolutely huge.

I have no idea why this has happened, have tried reseating the drive but still get this error. What are the implications of this error? And what's the best step to take from here?

    Help greatly appreciated.

It could be a SMART error, in either case the drive has been flagged as bad. It will have to be fully formatted or replaced if the same thing happens again.
