Hey,
I need a good video camera- preferably HD, which can connect via probably firewire (unless plain usb connection works) to Final Cut express HD.
I had one that was hard disk drive and it didnt work.
so probably one that records onto mini dvs.
Any suggestions?
I love macs.
but hate the way the cameras are so expensive!!!
Thanks!
:apple:
oh and ps. Not too much money to spend!!!

Well I'm sure these are out of your price range but i would suggest a Canon:

-HV20
-HV30
-HF10
-HF100

But considering your using FCE HD and not FCE 4, I would go for the HV series because i don't think FCE HD supports AVCHD. I'm pretty sure a HV20 can be had for around $500 theses days but I'm not entirely sure. I ended up with a HF10 which produces amazing video and it's video quality is pretty much comparable to the HV series.
