HD Video from iMovie

How do you export iMovie to HD?

On YouTube when I upload something from iMovie it doesn't do it in HD? Shouldn't it be HD on YouTube?

I recorded something in Photobooth...it's 640 x 480...But iMovie wants to convert it to wide screen at 960 x 540...I noticed it cuts out some of the top and bottom (it does show stuff wider) but isn't HD...The PhotoBooth quality looks better than iMovie quality.

Okay, I just tried using another iMovie Project Setting, I chose 4:3 and imported a short Photo Booth video and clicked on the YouTube Share menu and got 640 x 480 as option.
As I don't have a YT account, I can't test the upload.
Can this help?

I changed the Aspect Ratio in iMovie and it worked!
