HD video streaming help

Hey guys. I have been streaming video content from my pc to my ps3 using ps3 media server over wifi. 720p and up skips and stutters and is unwatchable. I have tried a wireless n adapter also and it doesn't help.

Does anyone have any tips on fixing this?

Does the Apple tv have issues streaming hd content over wifi? I'd be willing to buy one if I could just get easy streaming. Any advice would be appreciated.

I for one see better streaming with my ATV2 than when I used my PS3 Media Server..

ps3 cant do 11N that im aware of, so its probably dropping back to G by default.

the ATV2 works great on my N 5Ghz only network, but I do have a couple of them wired so I can watch multiple HD streams at the same time.
