HDD Compatibility

I am considering upgrading the HDD in my 2010 MacBook Pro. Would I be able to take that hard drive and drop it into my iBook G4 as an upgrade?

No. The iBook G4 has an IDE interface, while the MacBook Pro is SATA.

Yeah, pretty much.

If you get a cheap enclosure for it you can "recycle" by using it as an external drive. Not quite as fun as it would've been to upgrade the G4...
