Hey All.

I have acquired the following MB with a toasted HD.
MacBook 13"/2.0/2x512/120/SD Black

I have the following MBP as my main laptop:
17" MBP 2.6GHz C2D HDef 200GB_7200 2GB RAM

Instead of just buying a new HD for the MB, I'm thinking of upgrading my MBP to a 500GB, and then flipping the 200GB over to the MB.

I have the Hitachi Travelstar 7K200 in the MBP to flip into the MB.
Thinking of purchasing the Hitachi Travelstar 7K500 for the MBP.

Any feedback to this approach, or input regarding other approaches or hdd selections would be appreciated.

Regards,

That travelstar is very good, but the WD Blue Scorpio beats it in some benchmarks. It depends on what you do mainly, but either drive should be fine.

But yeah you've got the right idea upgrading the good PC first :D
