So, my Elgato EyeTV Hybrid finally died and I bought an HDHomeRun Extend from Silicon Dust. The tuner seems to be fantastic - it has two tuners. EyeTV software sees both tuners, but I am unclear how I should set it up. Can I dedicate one of the tuners to EyeTV on one computer while dedicating the other tuner to a second Mac? There's almost no information on the Silicon Dust web page or forums.

The homerun is designed for sharing over LANS. The first computer to connect takes the first tuner, the second computer takes the second, the third waits until one or the other releases. As far as using EyeTV, you need to look at EyeTV users for help. The HDHomeRun could care less if both tuners are used by one viewer or they are being used on viewers on two computers.
