Hello,

My HDMI Multiport Adapter makes some noise when pressing right on the middle of the plastic housing. More exactly when releasing the pressure, the plastic makes some noise.

Is this ok?

Regards,
Thomas

Don't press it then you are just moving electronic parts closer together and causing feedback and interference. It will be fine if you leave it alone.

This is of course on the proviso that you didn't buy some cheap piece of tat from amazon or ebay and actually paid a sensible price for a decent component.

It is the genuine Apple HDMI Adapter.

You do not have to press hard on the plastic to hear the noise. You just press it by yourself when removing or connecting the plugged in cables. It is no interference. It is more like there is a little gap between the housing and the inside.

Could anyone check this with his Apple Adapter?
