Got my HDMI Audio working fine on my new MBP 2.66 Core i7. However, when I went to play Dragon Age: Origins, the sounds turned into a garbled, scratchy mess. Seemed to be nothing I could do to fix it. Video was working fine at 1080p.

Anyone else seeing problems with HDMI audio on games or other software?

It occurs to me, as I'm typing this, that the problem could be that the computer couldn't handle processing the audio when the video res was that high. Maybe the mess I heard was the equivalent of audio drop outs I used to hear when I over taxed my PC. Will need to test that.

Bueller? Bueller?

It's a problem with Cider ports in general...HOMMV can't be played with my Creative X-Fi USB sound enhancer either.

Problem is: those idiots have NEVER even bothered to fix this widespread issue with their ported games...amazing!
