HDMI auto detect switch

Does anyone know of an HDMI auto detect switch in which the auto detect feature will work with the ATV3?.
As i understand it the "auto" feature on hdmi switches will not work with the ATV, as the ATV (whether on or off) is always sending some signal to the switch so the switch will not auto switch.
I bought a http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0049SCB2Y about a year ago, before I bought my ATV3, and it will not auto switch to the active device when the atv3 is off. I have to manually switch or use the Kinivo remote to switch.
My goal is to have just one remote for my ATV, oppo 103 w/ roku MHL stick, dish box, and older mcintosh c39.

I have a similar HDMI switcher that I used for a while and it acted in the same manner as yours. I don't think there is anything that will help here since the ATV doesn't send enough of a signal when asleep.

As for the remote situation, did you know you can program the ATV to make use of almost any other remote besides the stock Apple one?

i have an auto-switch function on my hdmi switch and i found that if you put the apple in the last imput (i.e. mine has 3 inputs so i put it in the 3rd) then what ever you have in the others as long as they are not always on devices like the ATV it should switch between them once the other devices are turned on and off since the first and second inputs take priority. Hope this helps.
