Hi. Have an LG B6 connected right to my ATV4k and a soundbar to the tvs ARC port.
I have set CEC on the ATV and it powers on and off both the tv and the SB just fine.

Problem is that when the tv turns on, no picture comes. The input menu is bugged to and I have to restart the tv.

This is intermittent, some times it does work fine.
Anyone with similar issues?

I have to ask, especially since you didn't say for sure. Do you have CEC set to on, on the B6 as well?

Of course;) again, the atv powers on/off the tv fine. So cec functionality is there, I think the tv / FW is the problem, I might need to reset.
I has a FW version that I believe is a beta or something. 05.10.01

Yes. I have the same problem. I put in the ATV 4K and tvOS 11 at the same time so I was not sure which one. But when using 4K SDR (i do not have HDR) I can see the top of the TV showing I think 2160 in and out but I will not get the ATV Menu. I can hit the menu key and home key but still nothing. I can correct the problem with either of these.

1. Reboot ATV holding down menu key and home key for about 10 seconds.
2. Change HDMI Source to something else and then back to the Apple TV.

I just changed back to 1080p SDR last night just to check if maybe it is the 4K SDR setting. I just hit the menu key and the menu came alive with the TV and no problem. However, I have only tested it once. But it did come up fast this time. I am guessing an issue with 4K signal when restarting from a Sleep but not positive.

ALSO....
I have a VIZO P Series 4K without HDR (couple years old).
I have a Samsung Sound Bar but I only use it via BlueTooth from Apple TV. I am also using the HDMI 5 (I think that is then number) so I can get 4K. I was using that port before with ATV 4 and with BT. I am not using the ARC Port but was using in the distant past before switching to BT for the Sound Bar.

Thx. Will try some more. The thing is that the Input list on the tv gets corrupted. I cannot even change to anothe HDMI port, I can use the apps on the tv but when I press he input button on the remote no HDMI ports come up. Have to restart the tv then.

Also have a B6 like the original poster and I have no issues when using the ATV remote. My setup is ATV4K to B6 andd then B6 to AVR via ARC.

My problem is going the other way via CEC and using the TV remote instead of ATV remote, TV and AVR powers on when I turn the TV on, but the ATV remains asleep so I get the input change screen. I have to hit the "back" button (menu equivalent on apple remote) to wake ATV up. I can't replicate this behaviour all the time, I think only when the ATV is truly asleep. If I turn TV on after it only being off for like 10 minutes its not an issue. I wish the ATV was sent a wake command on power up. My TV does switch to the right HDMI port.

I happen to have a Fire TV Stick fir testing. So I can just hit it’s home button and it switches then hit SIRI Remote and back with no problem. Also, further testing and still no problem with 1080p so I think it is the 4K setting that is the problem for me.
