HDMI Headset?

Hey all, wasn't sure where to ask this.

I'm looking for a VR (but not VR) headset to use with my Xbox One (or anything with HDMI out).

I have a Gear VR headset and it was fun, but I'm looking for a way to get more immersed in games (specifically Red Dead 2). I don't care that HDMI wont support the VR part of the headset, but I would like to display a 2D image with no motion control at the highest resolution possible.

I don't even know what to search for as I either get the Oculus Rift (which is too expensive) or results thinking I mean chat headsets.

Any ideas?

Yes, RC drone operators use those. Search for "FPV Headset" or "FPV goggles", and make sure you get a model with HDMI IN.

If you get a PC you can most likely get a mod to let you play red dead in VR. My friend has GTA V running on his.
