Hi, there!

I'm experiencing terrible audio distortion via HDMI on my 2012 MacBook Pro 2012, which I connect to my HDTV for movies or music using a div adapter. Whenever there is an action scene or anything that requires the bass, or if I'm simply listening to music, there is a substantial amount of audio distortion. I'm not using the headphone jack, and everything is being transmitted via HDMI. The image looks just fine.

At first, I thought it might be the HDMI cable, the adapter, my TV, or even the sound card on the MBP. But here's what's strange: Because I also run Windows 7 via Boot Camp, I decided to test things on Windows instead of Lion, and voila! The sound via HDMI works perfectly on Windows 7! No distortion at all when using Windows.

Please help...🙁

Bump. I'm having the same problem. Haven't tested Windows yet, but will right now.
