I have been experiencing an issue on my LG Apple TV combo that wasn’t an issue 6-8 months ago seemed to come with one of the software upgrades and no response or help fro Apple. The HDR movies all are posterized in the dark parts of movies

where are you watching movies?
apple, netflix, amazon...?
you've confirmed settings?
i've had them change by themselves with updates before.
does the TV indicate HDR/Dolby Vision?
and on the LG, you've enabled HDR on the port you're using?
It's a port by port setting, and defaults to off.
