Hdr-sr11 Advice

I have a new Sony HDR-SR11 handycam. I am using iMovie to import the clips. My question is do they import in HD or should I be using some other app?

Also, what should I buy to burn from my Macbook Pro to an HD DVD?

iMovie will be fine for getting your clips on the computer.
You should use Toast with the Blu Ray plug in to burn HD on a standard DVD.

is the imovie in your reply 09? I have 08 and I can NOT get imovie to import hd from this camcorder. Any tips?
