HDR. What does it mean for monitors?

I was looking at the PS4 Pro, it says it gives very good graphic performance especially for TVs with HDR.
Do monitors also have HDR? (e.g. 24 inch) If not, why? If so, what should I be looking for? I want to get a good monitor for when I get one.
