As most of you know the new Appletv has hdr10+ now unlike the older ones. But out of the blue on my samsung tv I was watching ted lasso and now I had the icon of hdr10+ on my TV. Now appletv is streaming on that quality if your tv supports it. I dont recall updating anything but cool I guess. I have a s95b from samsung! qd-oled baby!
Honestly I just feel hdr is a mess with so many variations and issues and many tv having issues with one or another. I find sdr more simple to caliibrate.

Apple is now tapping into the Samsung market (a fairly good size chunk) supporting the "+" beginning with the 2022 ATV.

It's a great picture. I'm keeping my ATV on HDR10+ with my Samsung QN90A for now.

I homestly dont know if it looks any different from regular hdr lol
Do you use contrast enhancer?

Nice, I asked because every tv reviewer says not to use this setting and to have it off but I just can't
On sdr i dont need it but for HDR i do

I agree on the reviewers saying don’t do this or that with this TV. However I’m finding for Me that the picture looks closer to my inky OLED with intelligence mode turned on. In addition, the skin tone is more natural.

Enjoy your TV!
