How much do you want to spend? What types of music do you listen to?

Without a doubt, Klipsch S4I. Best bang for you buck in the sub-$100 category.

I have heard good things about the VMODA Remix. I have a set of their on ear M80s and I really like them.

    V-MODA Remix w/ Remote 79.99

I would also check out the Etymotic MC3 which gets great reviews as well.

    Etymotic MC3 79.00

You won't be disappointed, i bought a set just to see what all the fuss was about, and they're pretty great. They perform good in all types of music, not just one or the other like some brands, they're smooth for lighter songs, but also can really pump on bass heavy songs

Pftt I tend to be my own judge. I take little stock in amazon reviewers.

    Don't buy wired!!!

The future is BT headsets, don't waste your time on wired heads sets.
for In Ear I like the Jaybirds X click for youtube
for same On-ear I like the Meelectronics Runways af32 click for youtube
Once you go to Bluetooth headsets you won't even look at a wired set. The runways come with a wired connection just in case the charge is low. They both get 10 - 12 hours of play time. There are other options you can shop for, but bluetooth wireless is the way to go!
