My ipod will only play out of one speaker unless i press down on the headphone jack really hard. Its one of the new gen touches with the speakers. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you mean it will only play out of one of the earbuds? It only has one speaker.
Yes. I do know how to fix it. Set it up for service or take it to your local Apple Retail Store. You can setup service either by calling Apple (1-800-275-2273) or by setting up self service

Exchange Your Unit if Possible
My first Touch (16GB 2nd Gen) had a faulty headphone jack. It would crackle in your ear whenever the plug moved at all in the jack, even twisting slightly. Also, the plug wouldn't feel secure in the jack; it just felt "wrong". Returned unit to point of purchase on Day 3 and exchanged for another new unit which is completely different in every aspect that I mentioned. This one's a keeper. 🙂
