Now my only problem is that im going to have to stop downloading illegal music, the difference between that and good quality files is so apparent on these great cans.... ^^
Umm ... not to change the subject, but you do know that you can just as easily download lossless (typically FLAC) files as you can those crappy 128Kbps MP3's, don't you? ;)

Really?

Where? I just started a topic asking where i could find high quality music online in the iTunes thread haha....

So what exactly are u talking about?

hey alphaod
you want to sell me those headphones.
i am borrowing my sisters and moms ipod normal headphones right now (which sucks, quality and not always having a pair)

A former co-worker of mine had the QC2s and they did sound awesome along with the noise canceling. The price is a tad higher than I want to pay right now I think. The ceiling right now as far as price I want to pay is $100.

Yeah. I know that 300$ is a lot to spend on headphones, but they are a very good investment considering the amazing quality of the build and the technology associated with them. They are the only Bose product I will ever use and by far the best of their products. All of the other Bose products I have tried (and returned) have an extremely high bass that drowns out the rest of the music and isn't great quality sound to begin with, but not these. If you are willing to stretch your budget for a pair of these headphones, you will most likely not be disappointed. Mine have lasted me a while. (I bought them right after they were introduced) Just my 2cents. :)

Btw, I am not associated with Bose, just a satisfied customer.

I have two sets of these:

Got the 2 sets for $20 on a Woot! 2 for Tuesday...brand new...$25 shipped

Best purchase I've made in a long while...these typically go for at least $30 PER SET... (non-ebay)

Excellent if you don't want to carry around much and want something more than earphones. I'd say they're excellent for any headphone use...but then again I'm not too picky...I'm no audiophile.

edit: headphone cord is short...bit short for using it for anything but in your pocket or in a belt clip (in other words, on your person). Found this out the hard way as I was typing this...reached for a pop and my iPhone took it's first spill ever off the edge of my desk. It's fine though. :)

Ok I'm thinking of taking the leap and buying the Sennheiser EH-15's.

Amazon has a great deal ($29 + free shipping). Is there much difference between these and Sennheiser HD 202 headphones? They are the same price.

Alternativley I'm thinking about spending more and getting the Audio Technica ATH-ANC7's

Are these worth the $120 price tag?

Work: Grado SR-80

Good sound, but can get a little uncomfortable after a few hours. They were a good replacement for an older set of Sennheisers that I previously used.

Not quite the same quality as the Grados, but very good at preserving soft sounds in loud environments. I've used them at Formula1 races, and on long air trips, and have been very pleased.

Ok I'm thinking of taking the leap and buying the Sennheiser EH-15's.

I will mention 2 shortcomings of those headphones seeing as you're considering them

1) The cord is really long - if you intend using it with your iPhone, you're going to be tucking a lot of cable into your pocket as well. It's not really a shortcoming, more something to be aware of.

2) They do tend to become uncomfortable after having them on for longer than half an hour, with me at least.

I hear good things about the Grados but they look like the will make my ears sweat after awhile. Just don't look that comfortable. Are they? The Sennheiser HD 555 look nice and are a little cheaper than the Audio Technnica's but the Audio's have noise canceling.

Nice I got the older version of these and they sound great. Do you have any sort of amp or anything like that.

Yeah when Im recording I use my Firepod's built in headphone amp (pretty much the same as the headphone amp with 4 inputs that they sell separately).

You've gotta love a pair of Beyer's though. ;)

Jabra C820s. So comfy, great sound, and great noise cancellation!!!
