    I have the Ipod Classic and I am looking to upgrade my headphones. I need a pair that stay in your ear while being active. I run and work out alot and the pair that came with the Ipod fallout often.

    Any suggestions?

    I second the CX-300s if they're in your price range. I own them and absolutely love them. Great low end tones and decent outside noise reduction at a relatively low price.

    While I like the Sennheiser's ... they aren't ideal for working out. The Grado's have foam padding and that doesn't cut it.

    For working out - I suggest one of these:

    * For the cardio-only workouts and light weights:
    Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport

    Stay in your ears and the cord is nicely managed and won't get in your way.

    * For serious weight training:
    Sennheiser MXL70V Sport Line Stereo Headphone with Integrated Lanyard and Magnetic Surfaces

    Absolutely love these. It keeps the cord out of your way, so that you don't end up hurting yourself with the cord wrapping around things it shouldn't.

    I love Sony headphones. I have these:

    They stay on pretty well, though can get loose if I'm upside down. Running in them has been fine. I realise they're not in-ear but, IMO, that just means the sound quality is better and they're more comfortable to wear.

    I recommend the Creative EP-630. They stay in my ears all day when walking about, and provide great sound.

    I to recommend the Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport headphones, I go to the gym 3-5 times a week alternating between cardio and resistance training and these work like a charm with my first generation Shuffle.
