Even. They never had stock. Or like 2 units. But they now have a lot of money already debited and your backorder without possible cancellation. It was the same thing with the nvidia cards. People had to wait for months and still are not served.

Yea same up here further in the northeast however the 16/512 is a good balance for many if they don't want the 1TB. Can't get that BTO from Apple unless you wait for it to come from China...so the Adorama score was nice.
I can't talk myself into the Pro when the Air is just too well running.
I thought you were implying about it being out of stock not the lack of a return policy

Pretty sure they never shipped my MBA out today despite ordering it early early this morning and opted for UPS overnight. Tracking shows label created nothing else...and its 9:42PM lol.

I emailed a customer service person after I saw that it was waiting, and somehow Apple Care was backordered. I got an email back saying they saw no reason for a delay, and it should go out.
Shortly afterwards I got an email from UPS saying a package was coming tomorrow. For me, that means around 9PM, but still tomorrow.
yea same here I got a UPS notification as well that I was getting a delivery tomorrow but if I check the actual tracking info through UPS it says label created....but no activity at all. UPS told me it should have had activity by now.
check yours I would be very curious if yours has activity because I ordered mine before you lol. I only posted this thread last night after I ordered.
When I check online thru the Delivery app, it shows that it's left the facility in Edison, NJ.

I got angry about the situation and my local apple store has the MBP M1 16GB/1TB for express pickup tomorrow morning.....so I did it.

***edit*** to add more humor to all of this the UPS tracking AT 1AM just changed to in transit in Philadelphia, PA.....I have no idea what to think. Hot mess.

Just looked and there’s a lot of 16/1T availability for MBA and MBP for Apple store pickup. Also a bunch of 8/512 too.
Stores I'm looking at are Atlanta/Augusta/Huntsville/Birmingham/GreenvilleSC
I'm sure it'll vary by region - and I wouldn't be surprised to see most of them gone by mid-morning. The 16/1T models always seem to disappear quick, so I'd suggest anyone waiting for one of those grab it when you see it. Even if you can't get to the store for a couple days - they'll hold for a week or so.
Lucky. In Los Angeles area, even the 8GB MacBooks have all been delayed to Jan (and all the Apple Stores are closed).
Arrived at a little after 2PM.
Going to open it up tomorrow as a proper Christmas gift.
I've seen 16GB/1TB MBP Space Gray in the metro west area and NH. I haven't seen a 16GB/1TB MBA in a week or so. Natick and Solomon Pond have the 16GB/1TB MBP frequently. I haven't seen them at Cambridge, Boylston St or Chestnut Hill in a while.
