So I bought an Evolve headset with mic to work on my Dual 1.8 Ghz PowerPC G5 only to find out that the mic doesnt work. After reading up on the net I realise I needed the imic so purchased that and now it still doesnt work. Fancy that! Ive checked my sound settings in prefs and both the input and output are using the imic USB option. WTF. I installed Final Vinyl to record my voice to see if that picked up anything, nothing WTF. Ive double, no triple checked to make sure the mic is going 'in' and the headphones coming 'out' and that imic is set to the mic. Is there anything else I have to buy to make this crap work? Your help is greatly appreciated.
