Health app takes up huge amounts of space.

Hello,

I have a problem with my mom's iPhone. The health app on her phone is 12GB. She has a iPhone 6S Plus with 32GB of space. It seems that the size of the health app grows until there is no more space left. Does anyone have a fix for this?

The iCloud backup is only 21.6GB including the health app. She never had an apple watch.

What OS version? If you aren't running the latest try and update, might be a fix included in the update.

iOS 15.8.3. That is the latest version.
