No different to the problem that already has too many threads.I've seen this before. This is an extremely telling video. There is obviously a problem.

FFS.
The best way to test connectivity is with a ping tool like Ping Lite.
In this screenshot you can see where the pings stop responding. That happened when I put the lower left corner of the phone in my palm.
Putting my finger over the two antennas caused the bars to go down but the pings didn't drop or show additional latency
That is probably the BEST evidence, along with the OP video, of the problem.
Also, great AD username.
I'd like to post video but I don't know how to take a video of the screen of my phone with the phone.
This is a great way to experiment and determine exactly what does and doesn't affect connectivity of the phone.
Why in the name of sanity did you have the lights switched off???

It's very important to show that the data interruption occurs when fingers touch antennas.
What if you were touching the phone with a magnet? We don't know because it's too dark in the video. Duh!
Maybe his buddy not seen in the video was turning the speakers on and off.![]()
as soon as he took his finger off the page loaded doesn't it take a while to return to normal? The progress bar didn't move throughout the video... So just good timing?Ha! Interesting theory, but what about the safari progress bar?
