hearing aids

i know there are plenty of hearing aids that link to iPhone by Bluetooth but wonder about talking. is there something can be worn to talk into so you dont have to hold up you iPhone to speak into. i have a plantronics ear piece now but will be getting hearing aids in a month or two.

I'm not sure but wouldn't a good pair of headphones work. Maybe something that is noise cancelation. There are some that have a microphone with them.

I don't use any hearing aids, but I've used those ear pieces and they aren't the best. Make sure in Settings that the Hearing Aid Mode is turned on.

Hearing assistant

NPR had this article about hearing devices a while back. They connect via BT to iphones and allow 3 different profiles and phone calls. I've been using them for a few months and since I work in geeky environment they barely get noticed. I can now understand my wife when she mutters and I can function in meetings.

thoses look like they would do the job and then some. im getting mine for free but those look real appealing.
