Hi.. I installed leopard.. I booted into tiger double clicked install and it restarted my computer for me. Everything seemed to go fine and than the computer restarted after it was done installing . Now everytime I boot it comes to the "You need to restart your computer message" Anyone have any ideas?

what else does it say

What is the entire run down from boot up to "you need to reboot". Have you tried verbose output to see if it tells you an error message? If you boot up and immediately hold apple+V you should get some verbose output.. this would be more helpful.

Go into single user mode by holding the command key and 'S' down at boot up, then just follow the prompts.
I think it is type "fsck -fy" which will check and repair the installation. then reboot and see if things are right.
If not right, now, then do the install again. :p

Clean install, Archive and install, or update? Update never worked for me, but Clean install and Archive and install both did.:apple:
