I have the 2009 MBP 15 inch (not unibody). I have put my MBP through it's paces but I'm not sure what has happened.
My battery has been bad (for quite some time) I run it in "desktop mode" (always plugged in)
My wife and I went home for Xmas and on the way back the computer died. When I get home I plug it in to start it up and Nothing. No start up chime, no initializing of hard drive, fans, nothing.
The power cord when plugged in shows charging then turns green. I've tried charging it for a few days and starting it (nothing starts). I've tried removing the battery and trying to start it ( again nothing).
I'm not sure what else I can do to diagnose the problem. I would appreciate any advice or tips on what it might be.
Thanks
