help! 2010 macbook hinge cracking

i have a almost new macbook and on the edges of the hinge there are small cracks going up onto the screen. what should i do? i can post pictures if that will help. if you could help me out that would be great

If it is almost new and the cracks are just forming, you could try to take it into the Apple Store and have them take a look. As long as it doesn't appear to be accidental damage, you should be good.

ok thanks. is there any way to see if they will fix it before i go? the closest store is over an hour away.

There are more people on these forums with the same problem and apple fixed it for them so you should be ok.
