hi,
i have a early 2011 macbook pro running high sierra, i have bootcamp (6.1.0) and i have downloaded the windows iso file. i have a 16gb USB i am using during this process.
when i run bootcamp it loads and then gives me an error saying: ''bootcamp assistant automatically downloads support software for windows 8 or later. if you are installing windows 7, support software for windows 7 is available for download from apple.''
when i follow the link provided there is no download available, has anyone ever had this issue before ?

Which version of macOS are you running? I believe you need High Sierra or older.
