I've been running the blackra1n tethered jailbreak since it came out. Iphone was running a little slow so resprang it but it got stuck so I turned it off.

Tried to rejailbreak it using blackra1n it did work albeit pretty slow and it goes to reboot itself and gets stuck on the itunes logo- clicked on "make it rain" again and the cycle starts again. iTunes does detects that its recovery mode.
My iphone's shshs are stored on cydia if that is any help?

Is there a way out of this or will I have to restore & update to the latest firmware?

Thanks

If you have your SHSH blobs saved, why not update to an untethered JB, 3.1.3, 4.0 or 4.0.1?

Download and run Tinyumbrella:
1) Make sure you Iphone is detected.
2) check "Advanced Options."
3) In new window, under "Device / Version," select the firmware version you want to restore to.
4) Click on "Save my SHSH." Pray Cydia has them. If you don't get an error, it has been saved onto your computer.
5) Repeat to save other firmware hashes if you wish.
6) Now, click on "Display SHSHs." It should listed all hashes you have saved on your computer and the firmware you can restore with. If it's not there, you can't restore to it.
7) Start "TSS server," download firmware file somewhere (google) and restore through iTunes with that file.
8) If you phone get stuck during the restore process, try "Kick out of recovery..."'in Tinyumbrella.

Hi Myzhi

I tick the Advanced Options button:
the ECID, Request Version, Request Form fields come up

The Save My SHSH button is disabled- I can't click on it.
