Hello folks
I’m having a unique issue in that all my iPhones and Mac are able to perform screen mirroring perfectly fine within the home but AirPlay content does not show up on the screen. The player UI load, but the video does not play. There’s just a loading bar that shows up. Audio content Airplay works fine though just like screen mirroring.
This started happening after the 26 OSes. I didn’t care for it as much because we don’t really Airplay that much, but I did report it via feedback assistant when I first experienced it when tvOS 26 launched and of course no bueno till now.
But the wife recently signed up for her favorite fitness creator’s app that has workouts that need to be AirPlay to the TV. So now this little niggle got upgraded to a P0 problem in this household and I’m up for suggestions.
Remedial actions taken so far
- all devices have been reboot
- all devices have no pending software update
- No networking changes in the interim. Eero 6 setup.
