I have tried everything, and I can't get my Apple Watch to pair with my iPhone. I can't even do it manually, as the watch won't generate the code required (though it does show its identification number). I can't find any examples on line of anyone else having had the same problem. I'm starting to wonder if the watch is faulty... A couple of times it has seemed to pair successfully, only to say a couple of seconds later that pairing was unsuccessful. Has anyone else had a similar problem, or heard of it?
This is sooooooo frustrating. Tried to get online chat help from Apple, but could only make a phone appointment for tomorrow morning!

Which iphone do you have?

My wife's watch did this a couple times. Not sure why. Rebooting both watch and phone and moving to a room in the house with no other active Bluetooth devices seemed to take care of whatever was interfering (perhaps it was my watch and phone which were on the same table).

FWIW, my watch paired at first try with my phone.

Thank you all for your interest and help! I realised that the only thing I hadn't tried yet was rebooting the iPhone - which, as it turns out, some of you were suggesting just when I was thinking of it - and it worked! Thank goodness, I was getting so frustrated.
:)
