Can I use automator to make a new folder inside of a projects folder for every final cut project i make and have it save the project inside?

For example, i create a project called "Project 1" i want automator to make a folder called "Project 1" and save the project file there

I'm thinking you could create a folder action so that when you save the project in a default folder, Automator kicks in to create a folder based on the file name and then moves the file to the folder. Although what it would do to the project while still open in Final Cut is beyond me...

I guess you could create an executable script, instead of an automated one, so that you tell Automator when to run the workflow; as in after you've closed the project file.

Looking at the available workflows in Automator should help you determine if it can do what it is you're asking for.
