HELP!! Backing up External Itunes Library on Time Machine

I have moved my ITunes Library to an external hard drive, when i go to back up on Time Machine(also external drive) it wont recognise my external hard drives Itunes library (yes it is plugged in) is there any other way i can back up periodically without time machine?😱 Can anyone help.

Is your iTunes external library excluded from the Time Machine backups?

Enter Time Machine settings and remove the external drive from your exclusions.
